The End

È la commedia finita!

I’m pulling the plug on this blog.

By the way, “pull the plug” an odd phrase. You’re supposed to pull the plug after a nice, relaxing bath, not when there’s a gloved hand with long, sharp blades coming up from beneath the water. So, yeah, I mean it a nice way.

Stylized letters “n” and “p,” where the “n” is the top half of a circle and the “p” is the bottom half. Both letters have their “stem” on the left, and there is a horizontal gap between them.

There are many reasons for this:

no one reads it;
the fun for me is in the design, but when you have plenty of content, you’re understandably limited in what you can do;
it seems like every piece of software I use for making it is tainted in one way or another;
since I pursue minimalism, uninstalling a bunch of software would be nice regardless;
the structure — writing at least one post every month — is good, but can be stressful;
it overlaps with my Mastodon;
there’s probably something else I’m forgetting.

The plan is…

to keep this up until the end of the year or so;
figure out a better place for a mirror (probably on Codeberg);
use Mastodon to post most of the content that would have been posted to this blog, while deciding where to publish longer pieces.

My Mastodon and Codeberg accounts are the places to get updates. I am definitely not going to do it here.

Hey, nothing personal ;)
